Client Overview & Objectives

Kelli, the owner of Sierra Brushstrokes, offers painting classes and parties. Initially, Kelli built her website using a basic WIX template with simple art graphics. While her intention was to familiarize herself with the WIX platform and manage the site independently, she later realized that professional help was needed to take her website to the next level.

The goal was to redesign the website to be more professional, user-friendly, and reflective of Kelli’s artistic business. The key objectives included:

Design & Development Approach

Logo & Color Palette Integration

Kelli already had a beautifully designed logo, which became the foundation for the new website’s color palette. I used the colors from her logo to ensure consistency across the site, creating a professional look that was both modern and inviting.

Custom Graphics & Visuals

To better showcase the services offered by Sierra Brushstrokes, I designed custom graphics representing Kelli's various offerings, such as her weekly watercolor classes, sip-and-paint parties, and watercolor tea party art classes. The aim was to create a vibrant, artistic feel that reflected the creative nature of her business.

Bookings Platform Integration

Kelli’s previous WIX setup relied on a product platform for bookings, which was inefficient for managing her painting classes and parties. To streamline the process, I transitioned the website to WIX’s Bookings platform, providing a more seamless way for customers to sign up for classes and events. This update significantly improved the booking process for both Kelli and her clients.

Watercolor Class Pass & Membership Feature

To enhance customer engagement, Kelli wanted a way to allow clients to purchase a subscription for attending her weekly watercolor classes. I implemented WIX’s Membership feature and branded it as the "Watercolor Class Pass." This feature enables customers to buy a pass that grants them access to all monthly watercolor classes, providing a convenient and cost-effective option for regular attendees.

Online Store Implementation & SEO

Kelli also wanted to sell her original artwork products online, so I added an e-commerce store to the website. I worked with Kelli to collect product photos and then optimized these for the site. I also implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy, ensuring her art and classes were easily discoverable by potential customers.

Enhanced Contact Form & Interactive Elements

To make it easier for potential clients to inquire about her services, I created an in-depth contact form where potential customers can inquire about the following options:

The layout was crafted to complement the site’s overall aesthetic while showcasing the art in an engaging and professional way.

About Page & Testimonials

The About page offers insight into Kelli’s background and her passion for painting, creating a personal connection with visitors. I also highlighted testimonials on the home page from satisfied clients, elevating them with stylish design elements that made the reviews more prominent. 

Results & Impact

The redesigned Sierra Brushstrokes website now reflects a more polished, cohesive brand. The integration of the WIX Bookings platform has improved the booking process, making it more efficient for Kelli and her customers. The "Watercolor Class Pass" feature has made it easier for customers to commit to multiple classes with a single purchase, increasing retention and engagement.
